We are many things-  You can just turn up and SEE our locations- the awesomely atmospheric Wizard's Alley and Knockoff Alley; the picturesque Hogsmeade; the stunning Hogwarts Castle (STILL being developed and added to); and the epic Quidditch pitch; come walk around, explore our areas, and enjoy.  In no other place in Second Life will you find such a great ranger of Harry Potter and general magical goods; we can boast up to FOUR separate retail areas (Wizards Market, Wizard's Alley, Knockoff Alley and Hogsmeade Square)- providing a HUGE array of goods from brooms to spells, to uniforms, to familiars; to props to art work; from House Elf avatars to dark marks. We offer a range of goods beyond compare.  We are not just a pretty view- we have 3 IC bars (The Leaky Cauldron, the Troll's Head and the Three Broomsticks), plus other venues (Honeydukes Soda Shop, assorted Hogsmeade shops) We run an excellent series of events for both outsiders and members of the community. From the regular Saturday night dances in the Leaky Cauldron (four discos, each based upon the four houses) to Grand House Balls; to live music in the Three Broomsticks, to much much more. The SIM boasts an impressive array of talented people doing spectacular events.  Hogwarts Reborn is also a place which provides the ultimate in unique wedding locations- a must for any Harry potter fan couple who are tying the knot. Why not do so beneath the starry sky of the Great Hall itself? Both weddings and receptions catered, decorated, and can be customized for your personal needs.  Central to ALL of this is the community of roleplayers. We run a working version of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Members create characters who are part of a fully working interactive community, set in the legendary school from JK Rowling's "Harry Potter" book series. Students (from young eager and small first years to tall and opinionated 7th years); professors (from the much feared Heads of Houses to the eccentric to the dedicated); and beyond that a wider community of wizards and other magical beings (from house elves to werewolves to vampires). |
